Covid-19 has become global pandemic, affecting many aspects of life, both as for individual citizenship and for cross country. Aspects such as social, economic, politic, and health has changed due to the rapid transmission and high rate of death. There have been many efforts and attempts from policy maker and public health sector to tackle the pandemic, including social distancing, travel restriction, partial lockdown, and most recently vaccination.
Covid-19 also affects the increase of severity of other diseases. We mainly consider the effect of pandemic on urban health and its related diseases, such as infection, addiction, and geriatric-related diseases. Urban health is an area of research excellence in School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia.
This webinar aims to gather and improve knowledge and perspectives on the impact of Covid-19 pandemic on urban health and what possible strategies and challenges to overcome this pandemic.
